metric taps

I purchased the plugs for my Hoglet today, I did't realize the cm6 plugs have a special thread and none of my metric set will work, where is the best place to obtain an M10x1.00 tap? I live in Canada.

You shouldn't have any trouble tho' - they are a pretty common size.

What part of Canada are you in. There is a tap and die manufacturer in Kitchener ON. just North of the 401 @ Highway 24.
Company name is J.A.M. Taylor Tool Co. They list 10 mm in o.5 - 0.9 & 1.5 Pitches in the Special tap list. The Standard tap list has 10mm 0.75 - 1.0 - 1.25 & 1.5 Pitches. These are all avaiable in Taper. Plug & Bottoming versions, all 4 flute.
