Hoping to get some advice on what material I should make this model Diesel engine fuel tank out of. I have a resin printer but not really confident that the resin would hold up over time. Looking to machine one up. I wonder if anyone here has had experience with this.
Thanks

Polycarbonate is resistant to petrol but not sure about Model Diesel fuel, machined surfaces polished up with something like Micromesh will be glass clear.

I made some clear tank ends for a fuel tank out of polycarbonate. Wanting to clean it up before gluing I sprayed it with carb cleaner and it went into a crazy crinkle-fracture pattern, ruining it. So before putting too much time in your plastic projects try the likely fuel on it and let it set. Some clear plastics don't survive gasoline long term.
