Gday all

Wanting to make some copper head gaskets out of 0.5mm copper sheet. I was just wondering what the best method was to cut it.

Cheers all

Andy

Scissors.

To make holes, a a punch and die. The type I mean (I don't know the name of) has a punch of whatever diameter you want the hole to be. The material is placed on a plate that has a hole that matches the punch. Harbor Freight has them. Don't know what equivalent you have down under.

A Whitney punch might also work well.

Cheers,
John

Thank you guys. I had a look on eBay and punches of varying sizes are easy to come by.
