My daily drive takes me past a fab shop that seems to do a lot of work with stainless steel sheet, probably for nearby meat processing industry. The scrap goes into a huge dumpster, picture 6' x 12' sheets with as many smaller (often round) shaped parts cut out of it as possible. I don't know but l suspect it is thinner gauge sheet (.25" or less ?). Is there any interest/use for such scrap in the hobby? (I have no idea if they would allow me to pick through it, thought I'd ask about interest first..)
