I must say that is very nice looking work on the engines and radiator. I built a radiator of Jerry's design and it gets comments whenever I show it.

So if I assume that Howell took you 3 months start to finish, I calculate that is about 20 years of castings to hand.

By the time you have made that lot you will probably need something a bit more challenging than someone else's designs and second hand castings... have you thought of designing your own engines?

I have thought about designing my own or scaling down bike engines.

Thats a nice job on the V4 and good to see it properly finished with paint and mounted, some people are in such a rush to get through their casting collections they don't bother to finish them off properly before moving onto the next.

I have done a couple of my own designs and enjoy that aspect as well as replicating hard to get old cast engines by making from solid and/or fabrication. There are still a few casting sets that I would still find desirable but see myself doing more of my own thing in the future.
