Home Machinists in Dallas/Fort Worth Area ?

Hi,

There is a chance that I may get the opportunity to move to the Dallas area early next year. I've done a bit of trawling on line, but I'm struggling to find any clubs/societies in the area.

Can anyone help me here ?

Meets are held at the Bill Priest Institute, on the second Saturday of each month at 0900.

There is a smaller group of hobbyists that meet monthly, usually in Ponder.

I suppose Austin is too far away, but we have a very active metalworking club here. We meet once a month and various members have been hosting shop tours over the past year.
