I've been lurking for quite a while. I decided to go ahead and register so I can ask some question on my upcoming design. I have 0 experience making small model engines. I'm adept at working on the full size versions, but miniaturization is a new venture for me.
Currently, I'm Active Duty Air Force. I'm also a Senior in college working toward a BS in mechanical/aerospace engineering. Very difficult finding time for anything with the military, school work and family.
I don't have my own mill and lathe yet, but I have access to the machine shop at the university. They even have one CNC mill which may very well come in handy.
