After lurking for some time I decided to officially join. Last year I purchased a Grizzly G0704 mill and did some small projects with it. I completed the CNC conversion about 2 weeks ago, milling all the parts I needed on the manual mill. I had some trial and error moments, but found the experience quite enjoyable.


What prompted me even more to join was winning a Sherline 4400 from the N.A.M.E.S. show raffle. Now that was exciting. The first time I attended the show was last year. Now I'm searching for a good set of plans to start building. I'm not the instant gratification type, so I want something challenging and elegant. Something air powered, but eventually I want to do IC engines. There are so many to choose from...
