here is a train my dad built out of wood.

the caboose holds the garbage cans and recycle bins and the tender is a flower box for mom.

every time i go to dads (twice a month) he has some new thing built or in the midst of being built.

retirement has been good for him!!!

Now I like that. After all I am better at woodworking than metal working and I have been looking for a way to hide my cans. That is nice. Now if only the engine would take them to the curb???

To make it eaiser to take out the garbage. Make it electric or Steam and have track out to the front yard, flip a switch and the garbage has been taken out ;D

Now thats a serious bit of wood work. The biggest thing I've ever made was a butchers block.

Front of the engine is cutoff, cant be seen in the picture. Pity......Does appear your Father knows how to enjoy his retirement..Why dont you get him started onto 'puters so we can visit with him?..
