Well Bob,

If that's what you get up to when you're bored, I can't wait to see what you build when you are keen!

Nice work

Nice Bob. Did that come from plans?
I'm curious about how you made the stand from a tin can. Can you tell me a little more about it?

HI zee sos no plans all of the top of my Head I have seen this type of engine for sale on eBay so I just ruffly coped it the fire box was made by cutting a strip of tin can say 30 mm wide by 65 mm long at both ends I formed two lips that wood be folded together to form the joint then i made a wooden mandrel on the lathe to mack it round and to put back on the lathe to cut the fire box to length left the fire box on the mandrel to drill the holes and to cut out the opening for the spirit lamp this was dun with a dremal the bace is a Peace of tin cut at 31x31 mm sqer then the legs was cut out at 25 mm height then with the aide of magnets soldered it up then with the dremal drest it all up

Very nice indeed - I like stuff made out of odds n ends like that.
