Here is the little twin 049 engine build.

The attached .pdf gives the build instructions for this engine. There might be a few typo's - apologies for that - getting a bit late here in Sydney !

cheers ... Ed

I flew a number of those engines when I was younger.
Impressive engine with a very impressive power output for its size.
I had a blast flying a COX trainer, and learned how to fly control line with it.

I went on to build several more control lines planes, with .35 engines, and really liked control line, since you never had to worry about charging batteries, servos, radio interference, etc.

Great twin 049 engine build !

I as well (back in the early 70's), GreenTwin. I started with the Trainer with the rubber bands holding it together for crash survival. Liked my Cox Stuka also. When I learned how to fly them, I built a "Lil Satan", a balsa wood .049 cox combat plane. Lots of fun. Largest one I built was a "Ringmaster" with Fox 35 engine. But, I have to say the "Lil Satan" was the most fun to fly. Thanks Ed and GreenTwin for bringing back the fond memories
