I am starting to get rid of things I know I will never do and I thought this would fit here. It is a machinist built Congreve clock made to the design of John Wilding. This clock is basically finished with regulating and polishing needed to complete. It is missing the second hand but I have a copy of the hardcover book by John Wilding with full instructions on building ,regulating and polishing the clock so you would have all info needed to make and keep it running. It is in an actual museum display case with pull out draw. This thing is very heavy with the case and shipping would not be something that can be done, so it would have to be picked up in Berrysburg ,Pa, and there is no rush to move it. There is also a picture included at the end showing what it would look like all polished and finished. All I am asking is 975.00 for it and this is not the Chinese ones you may see with stamped out parts, it is solid brass and you would spend than that just for the brass at todays prices............

I guess that depends on how nice you want it. There is a hardcover book included that takes any mystery out of it........................

Is there anyone who lives close enough to me that would give $700 for this. I really can't go any lower and would like to sell this and many other things that will be coming. You could not buy the brass for that price and the book tells you all you need to know...........

I found this book also and a reprint from Model Engineer on building the Grasshopper Clock. They will be included as I have no need for them......
