This fellow makes some truly beautiful and unique engines. They run on kerosene or turpentine and use fuel injection instead of carburetion. They also use hot bulbs for ignition. So I guess they are kind of a cross between ignition engines and diesels. Would love to have more information to try and build one.

Those are some gorgeous engines, some of the best I've seen. Maybe I'll get there someday but I don't know if there's enough time....

I'm intrigued by the fact that these engines use fuel injection and hot bulb ignition. No carburetion and no spark ignition! Sounds like my kind of engine. Also, he runs them on turpentine and/or kerosene. I haven't been this excited about an engine design for a long time.

This thread made me intrigued enough to go read the Wikipedia article. Interesting stuff there! I'd definitely be interested in trying one.
