This time I'm looking for plans for a more advanced project. A Paradox non-compression engine. I haven't come across any plan sets online so far... Just lots of discussion.

I particularly like Nick Rowland's Paradox Engines. I've asked him for plans... He says he has plans to offer plans, but hasn't gotten to them yet.

Here's a link to a YouTube video of one of Nick's Paradox engines. They're just so dang cool!

Thanks,

The original Paradox engines were a form of flame licker and ran on 'Town Gas'.

Polly Models in England sell a casting kit for a reproduction Paradox engine. They call theirs the Atmospheric Gas Engine. Don't know whether they sell the drawings separately, though.

Thanks Dave. I've seen videos of those engines before. I found the Polly AGE engine kit. Looks like it'd cost me around $350 USD by the time I bought all the parts and had it shipped to me... That's WAY beyond my budget right now. I'll put that in my memory banks, though.
