Air compressor line

What is the spiral line that goes from the compressor to the tank called?
I was given a large compressor that came out of an old service station.
The tank has pin holes in it and I want to connect it to a different tank I have.

Just be sure your replacement tank is recently pressure rated and in good shape...they can make a hell of a mess of everything ,and everyone in the area when they come apart.

Tank is new.
thinking of putting aluminum washers on black steel pipe as heat sink.
