A Note For Our Dial Up Members

We had an issue here with a member who is on a Dial Up connection.

We love our avatars and they cause no problems for any broadband users.

If you are on a Dial Up connection they can become a problem.
There is an option in the software that allows you to turn the avatars off.

Click your PROFILE button, then in the left menu under Modify Profile
click Look and Layout Preferences. On that page you will a several
lines of users' choice options. Select the box in front of the
Don't show users' avatars. Then click the Change profile button
at the lower right corner of that page.

That will turn off all that avatars and should speed up the loading
of the pages for you.

There are other options on that page for you to disable features that will
slow down the pages loading.
