    Is "the right stuff" by permatex available to you? I've seen that stuff hold up exceptionally well in uses like head gaskets for air compressors. Possibly mixed with a fiber like fiber glass or carbon fiber, it would hold up? An alternative would be to have one 3d printed from nylon, if you...

    Heating is complicated and BTU's are as useful to judging a torches performance as gas tank volumes on cars. Max flame tempurature, flame front speed etc... all play huge rolls in getting the heat where and into what you want to heat.

    Probably a working temp around 75°c according to some generalized data sheets.

    Those couplers should have an rpm/temp rating for the spiders iirc. Unless they are random internet ones

    MAPP will always be around, it's just propylene gas (same stuff they make rope from) diluted by various brands with propane. MAP or MPS gas is the good stuff that went away. It was far superior to MAPP. MAPP is the sales acronym they came up with after MPS was removed from the market.
