HI I have sum of those don't no if I have posted this before but fix a old drill chuck to a file Handel its brill for all sorts of things I yous ed chemical metal to bond the chuck in to the file Handel

last bit i made up sum clamping screw nuts and clock stand in place

HI SOS i got cut off total length of the bearing is 150mm right i made up a 8MM rod to fit in to the pre drilled holes the see pic then made up the clamps their made out of tufnol 12mm by 12mm at the end of both their drilled and ream M8 at the other drilled 4.2 MM for the clamping screw pics

HI all not started me new engine yet but i made this this week end I had seen plans for a clock stand so I decided to mack my own I can not yous a magnetic clock stand on my lathe as i had to mack up a adapter plate to fit the miford compound slid on to my lathe and the adaptor plate is 12MM...

two things to av a go at have you got a broken fire brick chop a lump out of it and shape to the hole it will help with holding the temp while soldering or fire cement

HI strange things is tin bots my grand farther wood save tin cans up mace up a carved block of wood in the shape of a boat hull and cut the tin cans up and nale them to the wooden former to shape them and solder the tin plates together then he filed in the nale holes they where pawed by old...
