I am just getting around to the tool now cause i am just installing a new 3/4 hp motor with reverse on my southbend tonight. So soon as the motor install in done i can start on the new tool.

Does anyone have plans for a retractable threading tool i saw one over on another site but no plans. I have a southbend and no thread dial so i thought this would help when leaving the half nuts engaged and reversing the lathe to start the second cut. Thanks

I just found this build and read thought the whole thing. I have learned lots from your setups and how you go about machining the different parts. You do some very nice clean work, your engine is looking great can't wait to see the end product running.

I do have some really nice boring bars ground from hss by a locale guy called http://www.attacktool.com/home.htm he stuff works great.

So a few months ago i ordered the new taig boring head it was pretty cheap to buy and i have owned a taig mill for a few years and have been happy with quality and thought it would be a nice addition. I used the boring head for the first time last night it worked well even with a cheap boring...

I have been watching this build with great interest. I got the castings for a no9 given to me a few years ago and i am just waiting for my skills to get better before i attempt a project like this. Yours is looking great and good repair job on the one casting.

That was a pretty awesome v12 and the fact that it is that small. There was alot of machining there.

The machining and the finish work on this build is unreal. The detail is pretty awesome. The work that i continue to see on this forum blows my mind great work.
