New Horizontal and Vertical table today

Today I received my new rotary table.
It is a lighter that one have
Horizontal and Vertical nice weight also.

Here is as received via FedEx.

Haha,
That is watch making size is it?
I bought a 4" and it is already quite small. (but fits the machine and seems to work as I want)
Indexing with electronics or "real old school?"
I put an aluminium Plate on top with a lot of M6 threaded holes. I can clamp small parts and should I dill into it I will become less stresssed out about it

I have larger one Rotary table too.
I was hand laying including bolt circles instead of seting up my Large heavy table
I want a smaller for fast easy setup.
Keeping Engines.
I wish had first Engine it was hand layout no mill just a drill-press.

i think mine is a phase II six inch same as the Grizly model. but i aways think mine is a tad to big and been thinking of getting a smaller one. so good find i think

I think it is good idea.
I have 8 or 10 rotary table too. But eas myself hand layout. I had take off the vise the bolt down the 8 or 10 rotary table. Then after finish un-blote the rotary table then bolt the vise and real alignment. It taking a lot time. I had 12" too it took two guys or a strong guy and that took a longer. So got a smaller one 8 or 10.
I am retired and I can adjust size projects. I only whan to make engines about the size of model airplanes. Great advantage the cost of materials is lot less too.

For some of pass I purchased one plate weighing 30,000 pounds.
Lots of fun just rest one corner on your foot you will want to pay for exray.
Even displaying small is better. If lots of money displaying is no problem.
I built doors for aircraft collectors. I would like to his wife,'s face when he told her for build the door was a 120 foot wide and 30 foot tall.

Last year I down size lathe.
Makes life easier.
I have old 4/4 jaw chuck I going. A part is independent and the is scroll. This periffic for holding parts for rotary table. I had 12" size for my turret lathe again it was very heavy great for some jobs. If making heads for a rotary engine you take parts in and out easily.

I had photos of a min machine shop in apartments. Other put mini machine shop in a Armoire.

Now you know why smaller can be better atless for me.

I bought a 4 inch rotary table so I could simply put it in the 6 inch Kurt vise. I know the coordinates for the y axis center and only need to find the x axis. Both get set with a rotary tool. Saves a lot of time.

I also have a 8 or 10" rotary table.
I figure the 3" is nice light weight and smaller than large.
