Got an alert from Amazon, the new edition was published September 5, 2024:

Volume 1 new edition was released early last year:

I picked up a copy directly from the gentleman who is helping with the republishing while at the Indiana Model Engine show. I thanked him for his services in getting this done - no small feat and much appreciated. Work is underway on the third one also.

Then maybe you can answer a question I’m getting: do the new editions contain new content?

I will look in more detail in the one I picked up. I didn't see any obvious sign of that - I was just stoked to get my hands on a copy at last. But I will check - haven't had much time to go through it. But I sense an hour or so in my easy chair in the shop coming up tomorrow, leisurely reacquainting myself with the book.

UPDATE from Guy!

I emailed Guy last week, asking about the content of the new editions, and here is a portion of his reply (my questions in italics):

Hi Charles,

Thanks for your note, and continued interest in my doings. I'm well, thanks, but gettin' older. (I'll be 78 later this month.)

I just saw that the 3rd edition of TMBR V2 is out and was wondering if this is a reprinting...
It is basically the same content as the previous printing of T2.

or if as you had planned four years ago you have added content to bring both V1 & V2 up to the length of V3?
No - content is about the same as before.

I followed up with an additional question about a possible Volume 4, but haven't heard back yet.

I did make some purchases from his Store Front on Little Lake Technology:
