There's a 770 for sale on Atlanta craigslist for $5K. Not sure if that's a good deal, but the difference might make shipping worthwhile.

Nope, not a good deal someone on a Facebook Group local to seller went looked it! There is a reason why the head is off the column and the ways ??? machine was not maintained and possibly crashed hard. Its been posted for 3-4 months for a reason.

Did you give up on the Path Pilot conversion that I saw you on with on the Linux forum.

Still doing the path pilot on the lathe conversion and will also be using it on the 1100.
