Where has Zee gotten off too.
Last I heard, he was taped out of his shop due to home remodeling.

Maybe they taped him in the shop or something?

Somebody put out an APB for Zee.

Last time I noticed a posting, was on Nov. 14th on my build thread.

Probably busy with other things. He did log on today, to take a look.

Ya' know Pat, I was just wondering the very same thing this evening. Don't know why exactly but his name sprang to mind and it made stop to think about the last time I had seen a post from him. Hope that all is well in his house.

I had lunch with him several weeks ago he said he had another trip south of the border coming up soon. Maybe they took him hostage to build engines to power the city :big:

Not only is his shop inaccessible, his employer has him working 7 days a week lately in a big push to finalize a product. He's gonna need some shop time to wind down before long.

Wow! Have I been out of touch!

First off...thanks to everyone who was worried or concerned.
Second...my apologies for dropping off like that. I hadn't realized how little I'd been on the forum. The time has been flying.

I started working everyday 10-12 hours back in August. Extra responsibilities, a project that needs completion, and two projects that are starting. Starting a project is as bad as trying to finish one. Worse this time...management got a bug and started hiring engineers...but way too early. Not enough work has been defined yet so part of my job is training and process improvement. Several of the engineers are being hired in Mexico so I've been making trips down there. (Paid off though...I'm getting a little bonus at work.)

Thanksgiving weekend was my first weekend off. Well it was supposed to be. Instead, despite many warnings about my knees, my wife convinced me to re-insulate the attic. My list of "things I'll never do again" just keeps growing. The knees are improved but still not right.

As many of you know, we renovated our family room and garage and that meant everything there wound up in my shop. Including a large harvest of tomatoes and squash. So for the last couple of weeks, minutes at a time, I've been getting everything back out. Not done yet but I can at least touch (nay, fondle) my machines.

Oh...a little lesson...our furnace chimney isn't capped. A bird got in and worked itself down to the furnace. The furnace quit working. Cost $300 to discover and remove the bird. The lesson? If you don't cap the chimney...it will happen again. Must have been a smaller bird though...cost was $200. Chimney is getting capped on the 20th. If I had a boy he'd be outside with a noise-maker.

I'll say it before some one else does..."A cap on the chimney is worth a bird in the flue".

Lots of things going on right now...but I'm hoping I'll have a couple of weeks over the holidays to myself.

Sorry if this is way off topic for the forum. Oh wait...I'm in the breakroom. Well then...

Status on the veggies...tomatoes are gone. Squash has been moved to the garage. I hate squash. But T figured out a way for me to eat it. Squash soup with curry. You can put curry on dirt and I'll eat it.

All is well here...just busy busy. Thanks again everyone.

[EDIT: I'll be at Cabin Fever!]
