I am making a v jaw plate for my vise to hold round stock. It will be 1.380 tall by 6 inches long and trying to find a way of cutting the valleys. I am wondering if I could use a small ball endmill for most stock removal then switch to a 60* countersink to finish. Using flat plate cold rolled steel.
Don't have angle plates or a tilting vise so looking for an alternative. Here's the tool I plan to use. Can it handle it?
