Working on the Webster. In the process of making the Crankshaft and related items. Made a weighted style crank. In process of making the shaft. I have a question on the bronze bearings. The plans say to "press them in with the flanges toward the inside of the engine,...". Trying to confirm that this means to press them in so that the flanges are on the flywheel side (inside) of the supports, or am I misunderstanding?

The flange acts to prevent the movement of the bearings , so it is usually located on the inside.
