Trying to sneak out to the shop during a family pool party may result in problems. While nobody may miss you, hot chips burn top of feet in flip flops, swarf sticks to bottom of flip flops so when you rejoin party it sounds like cleats on the pool deck(busted). Tried wearing dark bathing suit to hide any oil and until it made oily spot in pool nobody knew(busted). on the bright side I did get a piston for a Elmers's fancy made. Just a little humor from the northern coast of middle Tennessee, just off the point of redneck cay

Eric. At least you learnt from your mistakes. Next pool party you will be able to finish the engine ;D

Well, it's proved to be a great diversion. Everyone is entertained and as long as PawPaw keeps the grill and fryer going everyone is happy. Grill and fryer right between shop and pool. Mamma didn't raise no fool. Layout, build fire, turn on lathe, put meat on,do a little milling, take 'em some fried dill pickles, study drawings, turn meat, remake screw-up, vote on best belly flop, eat, everybody tired and take nap and PawPaw has all evening in shop. Good cigar, good coffee, a few chips in the floor and life is good up here on the northern coast of middle Tennessee, just of the point of redneck cay!!
