Looking to sell this vintage set of castings and prints for the construction of this working model steam or compressed air model. What you see is what you get. Screws and miscellaneous small parts as described in the instructions will need to be fabricated or bought. The prints and instructions have rust spotting on them but are readable. $135 plus shipping.

Charles, as I mentioned. There are items that need to be added. Castings, I‘m not sure. As to price, negotiable. Certainly didn’t mean to get anyones dander up.

It certainly looks like a 10V with only one upright and the single base etc. The whole kit is available new and complete from Stuart Models for £110.00 ($132.00 plus postage.

Having looked closer There are quite a lot of parts (castings) missing as well as all of the stock materials and BA fasteners that are normally supplied with the kit. These will probably cost more than the kit. There are also duplicates of some of the instructions and drawings. The original instructions are basically a double sided A3 size print. Having just looked at the Stuart Models website the castings shown above would cost around $100 as spare parts (plus postage).

The one piece box bed and soleplate is different from the two piece one that Stuarts do and the flywheel looks a bit thick in the spoke department so not sure if that is a Stuart Item either, same for the valve chest the Oval gland boss is round on the Stuart casting

Can you say if the castings are rusty iron or bronze/brass as there were some bronze lookalikes available a few years back that had the one piece bed/soleplate
