I was wondering any of you have sources to find videos of people milling or turning? More specifically i'm not looking for tutorials, but just videos of someone making the parts for their next engine.
These videos wouldn't be narrated or heavily edited; really, just a camera propped up pointed to the mill table such to study the strategy and way in which people make the parts they need.
I do not have a mill of my own yet (just a lathe), and it would be interesting to see how people manufacture in a non-presentation sort of way. Need something to curb my appetite until I get to do my own machining.
I can see how the videos could be extremely long, but if anyone has sources to videos of this nature, that would be awesome.
Videos similar to this [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaVr89FO_FE"]CNC'd Face[/ame], but of a manual mill or lathe
Thanks,
Ian
