I've just moved into my new, small shop. First project was to make a QCTP boring bar holder. I made quite a mess of chips.
As my shop is small, 8' x 18', and my two shop monsters often accompany me, I would like to keep chip mess to a minimum.
I'm thinking of a holder/devise to hold a crevasse tool to the mill table or lathe ways to connect my shop vac in an attempt to suck away the chips as they're made. Anyone make such a device? How did it work?
I have a couple of indicator mag bases and a gooseneck lamp base I may try to use. Any other ideas?
