Bringing the end of this build to it's own topic from my generator thread.

Showing the wall papering(ironed on fabric) and the fit and start of glue up.

It's been a labor of love for me and the wife and we hope it is received well by our little girl. We are starting the shingle glue up now, but the pics don't show any of them.

Cutting it close though. Most home improvement jobs require at least 3 trips to the store. I hope they're still open. :big:

Someone had mentioned how tedious the shingles for the roof turned out to be.

Boy, were they right! One thousand is not that big a number - until you have to hold each and every one of them between your finger and thumb.


I think this kit has more than 1000 shingles. :-\
