A few months ago my son busted the bumper off his car when he slid on ice and hid a small tree. Since it is an older car the recyclers do not have that year available. so he decided to make one.
The result is here. His own design his own work . he did have the pieces cut at the steel yard and he also had the mounting holes punched. He did the welding grinding and painting.

Ha! that's just what I was thinking.... Tin: You'll have to get busy and
build him one of those cute little strap-on-the-wrist cross-bows ;D ;D

He is getting attached to the old girl. After the tree thing, he replaced the alternator, the radiator and the PS pump with a buddy's help . He figures he needs to keep it a while to get his money back also not really in a position to upgrade. He rides with me to work most days so doesn't put a lot of miles on it right now.
His is also talking additional lights on the bumper and maybe mud tires and a lift kit. He is having fun.
