Looks like a very nice top end casting set. Good detail. Expensive, but worth it to the right person.

The Simplex casting set was made by Eric in Fairbanks a few years ago. Only a handfull were produced and the detail is very good. The manifold was investment cast using a soluble core in the wax so it could be made hollow around the curves. The flywheel wax was cast in a very complex mold, made by C. Stark, with removable pieces to get the fan blades at the correct angle. No effort was spared to make this a special engine. It was a bargain for someone wanting a rare and unusual engine.
