sieg mini lathe dro for carriage and cross slide

Hi everybody,i havent posted anything for a while as i am still modding
refurbishing this old Advance lathe i bought.I posted a couple of things
about what i am doing,tumbler reverse gears etc and will put everything together when i have finished.My current thoughts are to rework cheap
dro vernier calipers and fit to the carriage and cross slide of the
advance lathe,maybe even to the sieg.Any advise or pointers from
anyone who has done this would be most appreciated,especially photos
