I use a 2.2.kw AC Servo to drive the spindle .Steppers for x and turret are nema 23 and the z has a nema 34 with ball screw conversion .Z axis rapid is 300 inches a minute. X & Z have a toothed timing belt conversion the stock plastic gears were an issue. I allmost didnt get my machine it got lost at the shipping terminal . Never left the original shipping location .PA after 3 months I filed a claim for 10k. It was found the next day. Mine was missing all the power supplies. The control transformer missing the spindle motor .A lot of missing stuff so I knew it was in need of a retro fit from the beginning .
