How is this done? It was mentioned elsewhere, but I don't know how to do it.

Thanks, Wes

Press Ctrl+Alt+PrtSc and you will have a screenshot of the current window in your clipboard. You can then paste that into Photoshop or whatever you use to edit your bitmaps.

Cheers,

If you have Vista, find the very cool 'Snipping Tool'-- it's free and you can screenshot areas of the screen as easy as circling them with the mouse.

Tried the first one, Nothing happened? I have XP on the laptop that has Mastercam.

Thanks, Wes

Wes,

What type of laptop?

I ask because I use a Dell. With my laptop to do a SS, I have to use the 'fn' + 'prntscrn'. On my machine the 'fn' is between the windows key and the prnt scrn is the f11.

I know it doesn't apply to Windows, but in Linux I use the screen capture program KSnapshot. Works great and its free. You just click on the icon.
