I got into the model engine hobby late in life, and am enjoying it very much.
I also got into the backyard foundry hobby, and I enjoy that as much or more than actually building the engine.

Welcome Larry. I live in Lincoln, NE also. You will find a lot of useful information here, lot of tips, shortcuts, tools to build, friendly people willing share knowledge and information. I also have a 17 x 50 lathe and Bridgeport style mill. I also fix a variety of things and design and build tooling to make jobs safer and more productive. I also fix small engines.
