Anyone use them?

I was in my local place, Windsor Factory Supply to buy a hole saw and we got talking as always!
They had an MSC catalog and i asked about their prices.
They said they get better prices from Production Tool Supply.
Catalog prices are almost the same as Canadian prices!
Not too bad!!

Here is their web address:

Unfortunately when i opened the catalog it was to the Bison page and the prices still suck! :big:

If you have a WFS near you go and get a catalog from them! May be worth your while!

I use them all the time but they are only a few miles from my shop. They are like everyone else, some items good price, some items more than others, some quality better some not great. On the whole I have been happy with them.

Are they still on Groesbeck? I think the 8 Mile store is gone. Any michiganders know? I go to KBC tool because it's a mile away.

I live in Grand Rapids so I do not know about the others. I do know that frequently when I order something it has to be brought in from the Detroit store. They have a shuttle so if I pick it up in GR I do not have to pay UPS charges.

Production tool is one of my regular stops on the NAMES trip, have been doing it for 21 years. We got so the guys in the 8 mile road store remembered us, and often had a 'goodie bag' for us of various give aways from trade shows. I guess we were pretty memorable, 6 or 8 guys traveling together, and acting like kids in a candy store.

That was when we stayed on the East side, before my father passed away. The last couple years we try to get up to the Telegraph Road store on Friday morning, after we unload and grab our tables.

We have again rented a 15 passenger van for this year, so there will be about 8 of us. One year I organized a big bus, and brought 38 guys, but I guess the 14 or 15 hours on the road bothered some of the guys and I have not been able to get a big group since.

In all honesty PTS didnt have anything we couldn't order for less money, it was just nice to be able to wander around a store and pickup stuff, particularly the things that might have shipping problems like coolant.

got a PTS about 10 minutes from my house. I stop in frequently just to see what's up. Last time I picked up a real nice Noga spray mist unit for 39 95. Their "value line" cutters work just fine for the home shop. Better than Chinese anyway.
