I built two of the engines from scratch. One with one cylinder and one with two cylinders. I used the plans that were published in Engineering in Miniature.I have built a number of Anthony Mount's engines but not that one. I had hoped to make one but the kits are no longer available.
Anthony wrote up the entire build back in 1995 in Engineering in Miniature and I can remember discussing it with him. The trickiest part he thought was the side frames which are soldered up.
I have seen his engine run.

To make the cylinder you need a curved boring bar!!!I've always wondered, just what kind of machine do you need to make a curved piston----Or, for that matter, a curved cylinder.
