Here's a goofy one I ran into today. I noticed all the pictures I hosted off-line at my own site weren't showing up. At first I thought it was my server crashed again (it does, a lot), but it turned out to be a recent update to the NoScript extension I use in Firefox.
If you run NoScript and aren't seeing 2 pictures (or at least two boxes with a red X's in them) and a link in this post: http://www.homemodelenginemachinist.com/index.php?topic=4294.msg57327#msg57327 the try this:
Pop open NoScript, hit Options, then Advanced, then ABE and un-check 'enable ABE' and try again.
