That thing is awesome!!! Sure wish I knew German. Looks to be documented very well, If one was brave enough to build from pics.

Great post, will give some ideas for people here for sure.

Thanks

Matt

Let me tell you.

That set up has my stand alone bench grinder beet!

Typical German though. Got the best of everything and not a hint of bad quality of nothing.

That guy does some fine work. My hats off to him!.

Anthony.

If we go to his homepage we can see all kinds of tools with drawings.

I like his brass tool holders. Is that a good choice in regards to strength?

Wow, that guy has some skills - beautifully made machine and great photography too

That Proxxon is a small machine. I'd expect brass to be ok for that setup.

Wow!
What interests and amuses me about this obviously superb work is that there are virtually no chips in the photos except one, and there is a nick in his machine vise. This shows he is human and there is hope for me (us) to eventually work like him.

Bernd.

I agree. I have seen this guys work. Superb. Details are so great and his attention to engineering and details are so typical of this master.

My mentor installed his qualities into me which in turn makes me appreciate this guys talent and skill.

I have to confess I strive to be as good as this guy!. One day in the next 20 years my shop and me will produce fine works of art like .Joachim Steinke.

All the best Anthony.
