Hi all,
Finally taking the plunge into CNC turning with the purchase of an ex college Boxford 240 TCL, I am planning to convert this machine to use with either MACH3 or Linux CNC.
Still in mid steep learning curve but coping so far, however theory now replaced with installation of the machine in the workshop and examination of the boards, inverter and spindle sensor underway. I did have a play to establish all controls were working and turned a small part in aluminium using the front panel. Thankfully everything fitted works perfectly.
