I was a machinist contractor.
For the last 20 years of my career.
I did prototyping final assembly and production work on cnc and manual
Machinery. It was a very satisfying job.

Here is a barn find 1/4 size Case
traction engine I have found.
It has a commercial made boiler
and the engine assembly seems to be well built. Some items have to be redone.
It still has a lot of work to be done but I hope to be far enough along to
have the boiler inspected by April
Inspection time.

A model? Where in the world did you find such a thing? Any more info on it? Anyway to find out who built it? How interesting.

It came from an engine manufacturer and dealer in the UK.
Station Road Steam.
American models are very reasonable over there.

I have proxxon lathe and mill and also another set of Chinese mill an lathe but bigger than proxxon.
