Hi All
Just signed up after being a visitor for a long while. Over the last few years I have built a Potty Mill engine and a Monitor and now have my first IC engine under way based on one of B Rupnow's engines.
My workshop is in the garage and I have an elderly Myford that has had a hard former life and a BCA jig borer which is a joy to use. I am a keen motorcyclist with a Triumph 3 cylinder 750, an AJS single, Ossa 2 stroke and a Vincent V twin but do not have so much time to ride these days.

Welcome Andrew. Which Rupnow are you building? I’ve built his Vertical single & his Overhead Cam versions, both nice runners.
I too am an avid motorcyclist. owning three bike’s. Although no cool classic like your Vincent.
Cheers
Jack

Thanks Jack.
I have based my engine on the OHC version which I thought was the simplest after looking through the single cylinder engines on the net. I have the frame, cylinder and and crank completed so far, and am about to bore the frame for the main bearings after deciding on a compression ratio of just under 7:1, hope that looks about right.
