I bought these for my sine plate and SB9 faceplate.

On this one, the long side of the block was crowned .0003" from years of stoning

I rescraped it flat to my plate....All other sides ended up .0002" square to it in the end.

This angle block with V groove is flat and square beyond my ability to measure...so I just cleaned the threaded holes in in the box it went. I'll be using it for crankshafts on my Southbend.

i bet they are nice looking pieces but you pictures are kinda small :big: :big:

Here's a picture of how i found it showing the "crown" on the surface. It was small but it was there.

This happens when people stone the nicks off the corners and take the edges down as they do.

Not bad! A good surface grinder could probably do better,,,,but not faster... this took an hour

Neat stuff. Scraping CI is on my "to do" list... I love the appearance, and functionality to boot.
