Just some ramblings I wanted share with you all.
Many old side valves seems to be made as monoblock head/cylinders.
Was thinking about how this could be made without making a massive or bad combustion chamber.
Maybe intersecting with two t slot cutters, but that would make the combustion chamber with a chock looking point between cylinder and valve or overall big volume of the chamber.
Then I was thinking how the water channels would be made and found the realisation that the whole project would be pretty much impossible to do in a one piece billet (at least with my imagination).
An aircooled cylinder could probably be made though.
If casted it would need some quite advanced cores and casting skills I guess.
