I have read the recent numerous threads on model diesels with interest. This afternoon I spent some time looking thru some copies of SIC magazine. In my view this is one of the best sources for everything related to model IC engines. SIC stands for strictly internal combustion. Maybe some newer modelers are not familiar with it as it ended 24 years ago.
In 5 issues of SIC Vol 13 # 78 thru Vol 14 #82 there is a discussion of building a 10cc model diesel. They were printed in 2000 and 2001. The article was "The Dux", the first miniature diesel engine, a single cylinder by Martin Alewijn of Holland. There was a discussion of building the injector pump and injector plus other topics. Some of the ideas seem good and maybe worth emulating.
I don't know the status of back issues to the magazine but maybe someone knowledgeable will chime in.
