Mid-east ohio model engineering expo! 2016

Well it's that time of the year folks so get them models shined up and ready for the show. Setup is the 14th and the show is Saturday the 15th. I believe this is the 9th one. If you have never been there you really should check it out.

My son Dale let me know that Steve was asking who was going. I don't get on the computer much these days. My wife and I will drive out Friday morning. Hope to be there around Noon. Hope the weather is good. Ron Colonna

It's 6:54am. Waiting for 8:00 when we can get in. Seems well exhibited with any tables full of nice things. I'm going to spend 8:00-8:30 taking pictures. I think everyone will be here and setup by then. Should be sunny and 75 degrees.

All the engines started and ran very well. I then started the panther and BANG! Crank is locked right up. so I'm down to two right now.

On a good note, Ron Colanna brought the Novi V8 and it runs very well. He struggled for a while to get it to run. It would make some pops but fails to start so he put it on the shelf for a few years. Turns out his drill wouldn't turn the engine fast enough. Lesson learned. Now that it has run and tuned in it starts and runs very well.

Anyway, if you plan to come we will see you there!

This was our 1st time I took my son with me, he just started a 3 year class at the local vo-tec.
