Hi,
I am slowly working through some prototype engines, some made many years ago to make them look a bit more presentable. The latest was a model that was made maybe twenty years ago, it was a prototype for an engine for a stern wheel paddle boat. It was made to see the feasibility of an oscillating steam engine with a comparatively small angular movement and whose engines had separate exhaust stacks as some river boats do. The engine worked well being quite powerful at low revs but it wasn't pretty! So it was decide to modify it to look like a mill engine. The result:
Take care Tony.
