I purchased this Arrand drilling and milling spindle over 30 years ago directly from the manufacturer in England. I had many plans to use it - like mounted to the lathe cross slide, or made into a stand-alone diamond disc grinder for carbide tool sharpening. Alas, other projects always intervened and so it has remained unused in pristine condition. The brown colorization you may notice on the spindle nose is the original cosmoline protection it came with. The spindle is supported in preloaded angular contact bearings and the nose has a #1 Morse taper to accept a variety of tooling. The body of the tool is heavy cast iron. Included are some pulleys, a matching v-belt, and a Morse #1 arbor.
