Makezine (the web site for Make Magazine) has a few links about steam power today. The magazine and website a very steam power and steampunk friendly.

The FIRST is about Pratt Institutes steam plant and the New Years whistle blow that they do.

The SECOND is about one of Crabfu's new steam project... a steam powered rowboat. Kinda neat.

The THIRD is about The USS Midway: A WW2 steam powered aircraft carrier. The author got a few pictures of the machine shop as well, so some bonus lathe pictures...

Forgot one, check out the VIDEO on this page of a kinetic sculpture; it uses steam power to make it move. Very steam punky!

Hey Eric, thanks for posting those, only thing is I spent more time looking around than I should have and haven't accomplished anything in the shop ;D ;D

I wonder what happened to the inventer? He just dissapeared during WWI.
